Andrea Yahr, AFSP & Owner

        Andrea has worked in the accounting field since 2000. She holds an Associate of Applied Science, Accounting Degree.  In 2005, Andrea opened Yahr Income Tax and served clients in the SW Metro area of Minnesota.  Today, she serves clients in nearly every state as well as overseas. She specializes in a variety of solutions including, but not limited to: tax preparation, bookkeeping, and clergy taxes. She uses her expertise to achieve her clients’ goals in the most efficient and effectual ways. When she isn’t running her business, Andrea is supporting her four daughters alongside her husband of 20+ years, and she continues to thrive as a pastor’s wife, assisting with directing the choir and filling in for the organist/pianist when needed.  She simply needs a cup of coffee and she’s ready to take on any challenge!

Michelle Fritz, Tax Preparer

Michelle joined Yahr Income Tax in 2017 as our part-time bookkeeper, but has since been promoted to a part-time tax preparer. Michelle works directly with clients on their taxes as well as behind the scenes organizing data for Yahr Income Tax.  She enjoys working with numbers and helping clients see how their businesses are performing. By using these tools, she helps client’s reach their goals and continues to grow her own knowledge in tax preparation. When not working hard with Andrea, Michelle devotes her time to homeschooling her two sons and continues to hone her skills as a pastor’s wife. It amazes us how she still has time for canning, cooking, and baking such delicious treats!

BECKY BOOE, BOOKkeePING

Becky joined our team in 2022 as a bookkeeper. Becky holds an Associate of Applied Science Accounting Degree. She has worked in various bookkeeping and administrative positions over the years. She enjoys working with numbers and finding patterns. Though she grew up in North Carolina, Becky now lives in Minnesota with her husband, their two children, and many pets. In her spare time she enjoys crafting and outdoor activities, especially crocheting and gardening.  An avid traveler, when Becky is not working with clients, she can be found exploring the world! 

CHRISTINA MAYES, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Christina joined our team in 2022 as our administrative assistant. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Education with an emphasis in Business, Speech, and Drama. Christina works behind the scenes responding to clients’ needs, scheduling, organizing data, handling the website and social media, and tackling anything else thrown at her.  When it comes to her home life, Christina is married to a pastor in Nebraska and is a mom to three grown children. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching English period dramas, digital scrapbooking, and organizing everything she can!
